Dear viewers,



Re-living the Nuestra Musica: Latino Chicago exihibit at the Old Town School of Folk Music was wonderful! It was a pleasure to perform with many of our dancers who were not able to travel to Washington D.C.with us last summer. I give a special congratulation to our youth dancers Debby, Judy, Danny, Luis and Sergio. We were also pleased to be together with other local talent such as Nelson and Paola Sosa, AfriCaribe and Tarima Son. The workshops were fun and we got a lot of good feedback on the original choreography of the "Alcatraz". Thank you all who were there to support our event. We will be taking a brief hiatus from the stage while our group prepares new material for 2007.

Pudimos revivir la exhibicion de "Nuestra Musica: Latino Chicago" de Washington D.C. pero esta vez aca en Chicago dentro del "Old Town School of Folk Music". Fue maravilloso! Fue un placer poder presentarnos con muchos de nuestros bailarines que no pudieron participar en el evento en Washington D.C. este verano. Felicitaciones especiales a nuestros bailarines jovenes: Debby, Judy, Danny, Luis y Sergio. Tambien, nos dio gusto de compartir el escenario con talento local como Nelson y Paola Sosa, AfriCaribe, y Tarima Son. Los talleres fueron muy divertidos y nos dieron muchos comentarios positivos--especialmente durante nuestra coreografia original del Alcatraz. Gracias a todos los que estuvieron ahi para apoyarnos. Estaremos descanzando brevement del escenario mientras nuestro grupo prepara nuevo material para el 2007.
